Retired US Army Major General Paul Vallely, former Deputy Commanding General, PACCOM echoes concerns of conservatives about Obama's Libya strategy - namely, that there doesn't seem to be one.
Obama's Libya engagement is an extension of an incomprehensible Middle East strategy that places a higher priority on the "humantarian" needs of Libyan rebels and their Al Qaeda associates than the demonstrators in Iran, and supports regime changes that replace tyrannical dictators with tyrannical mullahs.
General Vallely makes the case that an arbitrary use of military force to create chaos in the Middle East, support the objectives of Al Qaeda, and enter one more in a long string of victory-less engagements under the guise of a "humanitarian" crisis and at the prodding of the United Nations isn't a good idea.
