Evil Conservative Radio: Idiot GOP Congressmen Now Touting Obama's Trillion-Dollar Turd- Boldly Promoting Reaganism During the Reign of Obama

I Find These Truths to be Self-Evident...

1. Governments should be afraid of their citizens. Not the other way around. 2. No matter how much power a government has, it's never enough for things to work the way they want them to. 3. There is no problem on Earth that cannot be made worse by getting Congress involved. 4. When the government does things for people, the people lose their desire, and eventually even the ability, to do it for themselves. 5. Liberals prefer to attack people, not ideas. 6. Liberals are obsessed with giving away other people's wealth. 7. Once Congress declares a "war" on something, or promise to eliminate something, you know that thing (poverty, drugs, disease, hunger, terror) will never go away. 8. No matter how many times it's explained to them, liberals will always refer to tax cuts as spending. 9. Profit is always more predictable than politics. 10. Children NEED parents. 11. Anything that gets taxed, gets smaller. 12. Anything that gets subsidized, gets larger. 13. Sometimes violence is necessary to protect peace. 14. The people who run government programs benefit when the programs don't work. 15. Modern slavery has nothing at all to do with shackles, and everything to do with economics, money manipulation, and taxation. 16. "Altruism" should be redefined as "undisclosed motives." 17. Liberty is infringed more by do-gooder government programs than by all the greedy businesses in the world. 18. "Pro-Choice" people aren't usually very pro-choice about anything but abortion. 19. The term "crisis" is easily used to take away liberties. 20. The people who administer government programs don't ever feel very accountable to you, the taxpayer. 21. The only things that really stimulate an economy during peacetime are tax cuts. 22. People are always motivated by some percieved self-interest. 23. The best way to help out your neighbor is to not live off your neighbor. 24. In everything EXCEPT GOVERNMENT, the people paying the bills call the shots. 25. Socialists have a core belief that it's OK to take from one person, even by force if necessary, in order to give to anotyher person. 26. Government-administered charities are always funded by force and coercion. 27. Powerful people usually got that way because they made being powerful their priority, not YOUR WELL-BEING.

Idiot GOP Congressmen Now Touting Obama's Trillion-Dollar Turd

Almost as if to undo all the good vibes with the grassroots that the House GOP gained in staying united against Obama's Trillion-Dollar Turd, at least two GOP Congressmen are now touting the benefits of the massive pork-laden spending bill.

Rep. John Mica was gushing after the House of Representatives voted Friday to pass the big stimulus plan.

"I applaud President Obama's recognition that high-speed rail should be part of America's future," the Florida Republican beamed in a press release.

Yet Mica had just joined every other GOP House member in voting against the $787.2 billion economic recovery plan.

He wasn't alone -

Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, also had nice things to say in a press release.

Young boasted that he "won a victory for the Alaska Native contracting program and other Alaska small business owners last night in H.R. 1, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act."

One provision would have made it harder for minority businesses to win contracts, and Young explained that he "worked with members on the other side of the aisle to make the case for these programs, and was able to get the provision pulled from the bill."

And John Boehner's office's response amounted to a "no comment" -

Mike Steel, a spokesman for House GOP Leader John Boehner of Ohio, at first ducked when asked about Mica and Young issuing press releases praising the bill they'd opposed.

"I don't work for Mica or Young," Steel said initially.

Great. So now conservatives have to overcome liberals, Democrats, the press, the schools, Hollywood, AND these nitwit Republicans who aren't satisfied with losing, but want to make sure that they look hypocritical and duplicitous as well.

The GOP needs some enforcement and discipline in their ranks. Senators Snowe, Collins, and Sphincter have already stabbed their own party in the back with no consequences, and now these back-bencher Congressmen seem to feel they can do the same.

The Democrats win because they are focused and acting as a disciplined team unit. It sure isn't because their message makes sense. Unless the Republicans want to continue to win in the arena of ideas while getting the snot beat out of them where it counts, i.e. in the arena of political combat, Michael Steele needs to get busy and get these rogues in line.
